Inktober 2021
For those who don't know, Inktober is a challenge invented by Jake Parker in 2009.
It consists of making one ink drawing per day for the entire month of October (31 drawings).
The word "Inktober" is also a portmanteau word that brings together the words "ink" and "october" (well this one is easy, it means "October" in English ^^).
Personally, I find that having to draw one drawing a day (and therefore having to find 31 different ideas) was really not easy, but the enthusiasm around this challenge and the fact of being able to discover the creations of other artists every day is very motivating.
In addition to that, it's an excellent exercise to become more prolific and progress in your drawing so it's all good!
For the past two years, I have been following themes in order to frame my Inktober and not to scatter myself.
This time, my theme will be: "Characters from movies AND series"
Yes I know, there is plenty to do!
This year, during the month of October, I will do 11 drawings, mostly in ink (ink, marker, ballpoint pen, but also pencil, which is new this year).
And like last year, all the works will be produced in A4 format and will be on sale on my Etsy shop at the end of the challenge.
Good visit !
